Newsletter 9.2.24
Dear Parents/Carers,
The EYFS Marus Bridge Spa opened today, where the children enjoyed some well-earned R + R. I think the teachers enjoyed coming to school in their onesies too! At the other end of school, Y6 visited the Liverpool War Museum to bring their World War Two Topic alive - one that I know they are loving at the moment.
Repair Work
You may have noticed the ramp is out of order next to Y2 - this is whilst we await remedial work on the wall which are hoping to have done in the coming weeks. Apologies for any inconvenience this may be causing.
Children's Mental Health Week
This week was Children's Mental Health Week - aimed to empower, equip and give a voice to all children and young people in the UK. We spoke about it in assemblies and in classes this week. I have attached a leaflet from the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families entitled, ' You're never too young to talk mental health.' It gives very good tips for parents/ carers on talking with their children about mental health. It also provides some useful contact numbers if you require further support.
Lunchtime Supervisor Role
If you are interested in supporting children at lunchtime as a supervisor, please pop into the office and speak to the team. It is a vital and rewarding role and one which we are currently looking to fill.
