Spring Term in Y6

We have had a brilliant Spring term in Y6! Below you will find some pictures of our geography and writing units! We looked at how Europe has changed over time with a particular focus on Germany. As part of our learning, we wrote our own travel brochures and tried German food to immerse ourselves in our unit of work - the sauerkraut wasn't so popular!

We also worked on creating our own steady hand game as part of our science and DT units. This meant we were able to creatively assemble a game learning about form, function and purpose whilst understanding the technical side behind a circuit!

As we move into Summer term, we will continue to work hard in preparation for our upcoming SATs tests whilst enjoying new topics such as the Maya civilisation in history, and Fridah Kahlo in our art unit.
