Welcome back to the final term of the academic year. As always, we have an exciting and busy term ahead, therefore I have some key dates to share and a couple of reminders too:
Sports Days
We are pleased to have sports days running this year (pardon the pun); they will be in traditional style and spectators are welcome. We have a coffee van visiting too this year for refreshments. Miss Johnstone will share full details soon.

Early Years Sports Day 9.30 – 11.15
Key Stage 1 Sports Day (Y1 and 2) 1.00 – 3.00
Wednesday 6th July
LKS2 Sports Day (Y3 and 4) 9.30 – 11.30
UKS2 Sports Day (Y5 and 6) 1.00 – 3.00
Summer Fair – Friday 1st July (2.30-5.30)
Thanks to the FOMBA team for pulling together an action packed summer fair and inflatable fun day. Please refer to the flyer from FOMBA for all the details. There will be a non-uniform day, where we kindly ask for donations to raise stock for the fair (see below). The non-uniform day is next Friday 17th June.

Lunch boxes
Thanks for ensuring lunchboxes are balanced nutritionally. Please can I ask that sweets are not sent in lunchboxes. The BBC provide some great ideas for packed lunches, the link is below.

Coats/Jackets
Yesterday, there were a number of pupils without coats. Although the day started fine, it ended up raining lightly over lunchtime – classic British weather! In such cases, we will take children out for some fresh air with their coats on, so please send coats/jackets in, unless the sun is cracking the flags!
