Dear Parents/Carers

Thank you for you continued support in these difficult days. I am pleased to report that the children remain well-behaved, motivated, and happy in school. If you know any different-please Seesaw your child’s teacher-we are here to listen and to help.

We are very excited about welcoming new children to Reception in September. The application window closes in January. If you have friends or family with three year olds please encourage them to join our ZOOM TOURS and look out for our SCHOOL VIDEO which will be online next week. We always fill our places so make sure to put us as your number one choice for your little one!

I am very pleased to see our safety measures seem to be working reasonably well, with just one infection affecting pupil attendance. Due to seating plans and other distancing measures only 12 children have missed time in school as a result. Thank you for wearing your face coverings when dropping off and picking up. Thanks to my colleagues too-they have kept up the human face of school even if it is behind a protective visor! Community infections have caused some staff to self-isolate and you will be aware that we have our Year 3 teachers appearing via video link with support in the classroom too. We are doing everything we can to keep up our high standards so thank you for your patience and understanding.

We have lots of activities planned for the remaining weeks to Christmas. We will be serving Christmas dinner in bubbles and the children will be watching a streamed panto. We are also doing some filming: of the children and a surprise extra film too! Watch this space.

We are in this together, we are with you and we remain proud to serve our community.

Take care

Mr. Gaskill
