We have fantastic grounds here at Marus Bridge with lots of opportunities to learn outside.

We have a wonderful Science garden where we can feed and watch the birds, also we can study insects and bugs. The gardening team keep adding plenty of wild life friendly plants and bulbs. We have a great new outdoor classroom that we can use for all lessons.

We have just planted approx. 4000 bulbs around the school – it will look fantastic in the spring. Look out for snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, tulips and bluebells.

Our vegetable garden has just been resited so we have lots of jobs to do in that area to get it ready for the spring.

We would love help with our garden if anyone can help out when the gardening club is running.
We have plenty of opportunities to recycle in the school – look out here for future recycling initiatives.

Our Eco Warriors are involved in lots of ECO activities around school.

They pick up litter and keep the school tidy.

They check classrooms and teachers! To check that lights are switched off when the classrooms are empty and they check for dripping taps.
